After saying she was going to visit a friend, Teresa Dean disappeared without a trace. Investigators would soon believe her case is connected to two others in Alabama.

NAME: Teresa Dean

Age: 11

Date of Birth: 09/20/1987 (Would be 31 today)

GENDER: Female

RACE: Caucasian

HAIR COLOR: Brown

LAST SEEN ON: Sunday, 08/15/1999

CASE INFORMATION

Teresa Dean went missing near her family’s trailer in Macon, Georgia on Sunday August 15, 1999.

She was last seen wearing a short-sleeved blue and white striped button-down shirt, orange or pink knit colored pants and clear sandals.

At the time, Dean said she was going to visit a friend at her house but she never arrived. Dean’s mother and former boyfriend, Cody Landers, lived in the trailer. In 2000, Landers was indicted on seven child molestation charges involving two children. Landers failed a polygraph test when confronted about Dean’s disappearance, but claimed the test was administered improperly. Landers called himself a suspect, yet the police never named him one. As of now, he is in prison after pleading guilty to the child molestation charges.

What Teresa could possibly look like today

Investigators feel Dean’s case is connected to the abductions and murders of Heaven Ross from Northport, Alabama in 2003 and Shannon Nicole Paulk from Prattville, Alabama in 2001.
