CASE INFORMATION

On March 1, 2011 Robert Lee Simmons Jr. was found at his home, unresponsive by family members at around 7:20 PM. His apartment, located in Toccoa, Georgia was at the Glendale Apartment Complex.


At arrival, The Toccoa Police Department and EMS confirmed that Simmons was deceased. They determined that his death was a homicide and occurred between the hours of 5:30 PM and 7:15 PM on the same day he was discovered.


Authorities have not released how Simmons was killed. Authorities noted that only the other person or persons responsible would know therefore the sensitivity of this investigation is extremely important.
