Teen Discovered in Wooded Area Behind Home

CASE INFORMATION

Hannah Truelove was a high school student who attended Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Georgia. Truelove lived with her mother at the Lake Lanier Club Apartments in Gainesville. On August 23, 2012 her mother reported her missing. Her body was discovered on August 24, 2012 in a wooded area behind the Lake Lanier Club Apartments.

Truelove had been stabbed multiple times. She was last seen out with her friends from the apartment complex at around 7:30 PM. The night Truelove went missing it had rained two to three inches, therefore, any trace of evidence was washed away.
